Get Quote on WhatsAppIndia is the world’s third-largest organic pigment manufacturing hub after China, and Gujarat alone hosts roughly 70 percent of India’s organic pigment capacity. Kanani Dyes Chem LLP operates from Sayakha GIDC in Bharuch district, supplying paint, plastic, ink, textile, and construction sectors across all 28 states and 8 union territories. With ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and NABL ISO/IEC 17025 certifications, REACH compliance, and a 25 kg MOQ, Kanani is the dependable domestic source for buyers who refuse to compromise on consistency.
Gujarat’s chemical corridor between Vadodara, Bharuch, and Ankleshwar is the densest cluster of organic pigment, dye intermediate, and specialty chemical manufacturers anywhere in the world. The reasons are structural and they compound on each other.
Raw material proximity. The diazo components, coupling components, and intermediates needed to manufacture azo, naphthol, and benzimidazolone pigments are made within a 50 kilometre radius of Sayakha. We do not pay for cross-country freight on inputs, and our suppliers can react within hours when a batch needs adjustment.
GIDC infrastructure. Sayakha is a notified Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation estate. That means three-phase power, dedicated water supply, all-weather roads, and access to a Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP). Every batch of effluent leaves our plant pre-treated and is finished at the CETP, so we meet Gujarat Pollution Control Board norms without exception.
Port access. Mundra, Hazira, Nhava Sheva (JNPT), and Kandla are all within 150 to 350 kilometres of the factory. That matters for our 30-plus country export book, and it matters for Indian merchant exporters who source from us and ship FOB from any of those gateways.
Talent density. Bharuch and the surrounding districts produce thousands of chemistry graduates and ITI-trained operators every year. Our QC lab, R&D, and production floor are staffed by people who have lived inside this industry their whole career.
Kanani’s customer base across India spans every major pigment-consuming industry. We do not sell to end consumers. Our buyers are formulators and converters who put pigment into a finished product.
Paint and coatings. India’s organised paint industry is dominated by Asian Paints, Berger, Nerolac, Akzo Nobel, Pidilite, and a long tail of regional brands. Most of these majors operate their own pigment dispersions and source via tier-2 dealer and distributor networks. Kanani supplies into those networks and into the smaller decorative and industrial paint manufacturers who want phthalocyanine blues, lake reds, and benzimidazolone yellows at consistent batch-to-batch shade.
Printing inks. Offset ink houses serving the publication, packaging, and commercial print segments (Manipal, Repro, and the broader cluster around Sivakasi for matchbox and label printing) are heavy consumers of PR57:1 magenta lake, PY12 and PY13 diarylide yellows, and phthalo blues. Gravure and flexo packaging ink makers across Daman, Vapi, and the NCR region buy similar grades for food and FMCG packaging.
Plastic masterbatch. Compounders such as Plastiblends, Kandui Industries, Kanchan Polymers, and a long list of regional masterbatch houses across Daman, Silvassa, Vapi, Halol, and the Delhi NCR run our pigments through twin-screw extruders into PE, PP, PVC, PS, and engineering plastic carriers. Heat stability and dispersion behaviour at 230 to 280 degrees Celsius are our quality benchmarks.
Construction. India’s construction boom drives demand for pigments in concrete pavers, roof tiles, dry-mix mortar, and architectural decorative concrete. Cement majors (Ambuja, UltraTech, Shree, Dalmia) consume pigment indirectly through paint subcontractors, paver manufacturers, and dry-mix specialists. PR101, PY42, PG7, and PB15:3 are the staples here.
Textile pigment printing. Surat, Tirupur, Erode, Bhiwandi, Ahmedabad, and Ludhiana run thousands of pigment printing tables and rotary machines. We supply concentrated phthalo blue, lake red, and benzimidazolone yellow into the dispersion houses that feed those mills.
We treat domestic India as five logistical zones and stock buffer inventory of high-runner grades to keep dispatch lead times tight everywhere.
West India. Maharashtra (Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Nagpur), Gujarat (Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot), Daman, Silvassa, and Goa. This is our home zone. Road transit from Sayakha is 1 to 2 days. Same-day dispatch is possible for stocked grades booked before noon.
North India. Delhi NCR (Faridabad, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Noida), Punjab (Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar), Haryana (Panipat, Sonipat), Uttar Pradesh (Kanpur, Lucknow, Agra, Meerut), Rajasthan (Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bhilwara), and Uttarakhand (Haridwar, Rudrapur). Road transit is 2 to 3 days. We work with regular transporters who run the Mumbai-Delhi corridor.
South India. Tamil Nadu (Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Salem, Madurai), Karnataka (Bengaluru, Mysuru, Hubballi), Andhra Pradesh (Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada), Telangana (Hyderabad), and Kerala (Kochi, Coimbatore border). Road transit is 3 to 5 days; rail freight via Vadodara junction is also available for full-truckload consignments.
East India. West Bengal (Kolkata, Howrah, Asansol), Odisha (Bhubaneswar, Cuttack), Jharkhand (Ranchi, Jamshedpur), Bihar (Patna), and the North East via Guwahati. Road transit is 4 to 6 days. We can also rail-freight to Howrah for buyers running larger volumes.
Central India. Madhya Pradesh (Indore, Bhopal, Pithampur), and Chhattisgarh (Raipur). 2 to 4 days by road.
We dispatch domestic consignments six days a week. Standard packaging is 25 kg HDPE drums for high-value grades, 25 kg paper sacks with polyethylene inner liner for high-runner grades, and on request, 5 kg or 10 kg moisture-barrier pouches inside outer fibre drums for export-grade or sample shipments.
Road freight. Our regular transporter network covers every state. Full-truckload (FTL) pricing for 8-tonne and 16-tonne vehicles, part-load (LTL) for orders under 1 tonne. Insurance arranged on request.
Rail freight. For buyers in Howrah, Chennai, and Bengaluru running 3 tonnes or more in a single consignment, rail dispatch via Vadodara junction often beats road on landed cost.
Road tankers. For pigment dispersion buyers in Maharashtra and the NCR who consume 5 tonnes or more per month of a single grade in paste form, we offer tanker dispatch in collaboration with a partner dispersion line. Ask about this if you currently buy paste in 50 kg drums.
Every domestic dispatch leaves the factory with a complete document set so your goods inward, accounts payable, and quality teams have everything they need on day one.
We publish indicative price ranges in INR rather than fixed price lists, because organic pigment pricing tracks raw material movements (intermediates, energy, freight). All 38 commercial grades in our catalogue are available domestically.
