Sustainability

Audited compliance, green-chemistry research and the environmental controls our customers and regulators expect.

Environment

Sustainability & Responsibility

At Kanani Pigment & Paste, environmental stewardship is embedded in our operating philosophy and audited under ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. The chemical industry carries significant responsibility toward the natural world, and we accept that responsibility with documented commitments and measurable performance.

Waste Minimization

Production processes are continuously reviewed for waste-reduction opportunities. Our effluent treatment systems ensure all process water meets statutory discharge standards before leaving the facility.

Energy Efficiency

Investment in energy-efficient equipment and process optimization steadily reduces our thermal and electrical consumption per kilogram of pigment produced, lowering both operational cost and carbon footprint.

Green Chemistry

Our R&D team actively pursues greener synthesis pathways, reducing reliance on hazardous reagents and substituting them with safer, more environmentally benign alternatives wherever the chemistry permits.

Regulatory Compliance

All products are developed in compliance with REACH, RoHS and applicable national chemical safety regulations, supported by full material traceability and Safety Data Sheets issued for every grade.

Community Engagement

Worker safety, fair employment practices and local community development are integral to our conduct as a responsible corporate citizen of Gujarat's industrial community, audited under the ISO 45001 occupational safety standard.

Sustainable Packaging

Progressively transitioning to recyclable and reduced-plastic packaging options, while optimizing shipment density to lower packaging waste and transport emissions per unit dispatched.

ETP & Compliance

Effluent Treatment & Environmental Standards

We operate our own Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), ensuring all liquid discharge meets Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) standards before release. The ETP handles biological, chemical and physical treatment stages under documented operating procedures.

In addition, we are registered with the Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) cooperative, reflecting our commitment to collective environmental responsibility within the wider industrial estate.
